Green Man Gaming’s first bundle has 8 Steam Deck-friendly games worth $210 for just $12
Green Man Gaming recently branched out into game bundles with a new dedicated website. Established sites like Humble Bundle and Fanatical have been selling cheap game bundles for more than a decade (the latter was previously known as Bundle Stars), and now GMG wants a piece of the pie. Much like the other sites, Green Man Gaming has gone the charity route, giving gamers the chance to contribute to charity with their purchase.
The store’s first bundle is called ‘One Special Day‘ and supports UK-based charity SpecialEffect, which is centered around gaming itself. Running between October 1-22, that means you have just over a week (from the time of writing) to make the most of this $12 bundle. All purchases are Steam keys, and better yet, every single game is compatible with Valve’s Steam Deck handheld.

What do you get in this charity bundle?
There are eight games in this bundle, headlined by RoboCop: Rogue City. All of them rated as either Steam Deck Verified or Playable. Generally speaking, verified titles are ready to play out of the box, while playable-rated games could do with some tweaks to further optimize them for the Deck, but game performance should be fine.
Admittedly, all but one fall under the ‘Playable’ compatibility rather than being fully verified. Games can drop down to ‘Playable’ for several reasons; in the case of RoboCop, the only offense is the fact that “some in-game text is small and may be difficult to read” on the handheld’s display. Regardless, here’s what you get for your minimum $12 contribution.

The total value of this bundle is listed as $209.92, and you can grab it for as little as $12. That’s the minimum price tag for this bundle – you can’t go any cheaper than that. You can, however, enter a custom amount and pay as much as you like. The ‘adjust your donations’ tab also gives you control over where the money goes. By default, the games’ publishers get the lion’s share of revenue, but you can choose to send more to charity instead.
This bundle is a strong start for Green Man Gaming, and you can expect to see much more arriving on the site very soon.
