Epic Game Store’s list of “mystery” free games in December may have just been leaked, with 15 in total
Earlier today, we reported on the fact that Hogwarts Legacy is currently free to keep on the Epic Games Store (EGS), provided you add it to your library before the offer expires on November 18. This promotion kicked off alongside The Game Awards last night and is expected to be the first of many “mystery” free games on EGS this December.
Well, that mystery may have already been solved (or rather, leaked) thanks to a post sourced from the Chinese instant messaging platform, QQ. The first thing we should say is that we cannot confirm the validity of this leak, but we’ll soon find out. Hogwarts Legacy is free on Epic for a whole week, while the remainder of the games are expected to be one-day flash offers.
List of Epic Games Store free December games leaked online
The leak, which was brought to our attention by @9950pro on X, lists a total of fifteen games with their Chinese titles (the post claims sixteen, though this is because a number was skipped, assumedly by accident). Regardless, when translated into English, the following games seem to be revealed.

We already know that the next mystery game will unlock on December 18, once the Hogwarts Legacy offer has expired. As for the rest, if Epic wants to cram them all into December, that means a new game deal every single day until the end of the month. Free-to-keep titles will stay in your library for good, once you’ve claimed them.

As we said, it will be made obvious whether this leak is accurate or not once we make it to December 18 and beyond. But for now, don’t miss out on the Hogwarts Legacy offer if you’re interested in the action RPG set within the Harry Potter universe. The game was massively popular back when it launched in February 2023, and the cheapest it has ever been on Steam is $8.99. We don’t expect Steam to be giving it away for free, either, though it seems likely to drop below $10 in the upcoming Winter Sale.
