Metal Gear Solid Movie Gets New Directors
The long-in-development Metal Gear Solid movie that was set to be directed by Metal Gear super-fan Jordan Vogt-Roberts will now be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein.
They directed 2025’s Final Destination: Bloodlines and have now been tapped by Sony Pictures to direct the upcoming video game adaptation as part of a new first-look deal at Sony Pictures.
“Metal Gear Solid was nothing short of a groundbreaking cinematic masterpiece that forever revolutionized video games. We are thrilled and honored to bring Hideo Kojima’s iconic characters and unforgettable world to life,” the pair said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
