The PNY RTX 5070 Slim OC has been put through its paces, here at PC Guide, by our team, and its performance earned it a 4/5 rating. We were pleased to see that it is currently on sale on Amazon with a decent 7% price cut, which dropped its value to $649.99. Its slim design gives it a 2-slot form factor, which means that the lower PCIe slots on the motherboard are available for use even with this GPU installed, which is great.

We would recommend checking out our in-depth review before making a decision, as that will paint a complete and transparent picture of all its pros and cons. This will help you make an informed decision, but this card is genuinely great for 1440p gaming and was seen pushing 4K as well with the help of AI upscaling. What we liked about the PNY RTX 5070 Slim OC

The slim design doesn’t compromise on cooling

Since this graphics card comes with a factory overclock, it has a boost clock speed of 2,587MHz. While this gives it better performance compared to an option with no OC, it also generates more heat. The low-profile design of this card means that there is less space between the components, but PNY went with a vented backplate and 9-blade fans that move air through the GPU for efficient cooling. Besides that, with minimal plastic, the heatsink is also exposed so that it cools down faster.

Powers 1440p gaming without breaking a sweat

In our PNY RTX 5070 Slim OC review, it kept with the other RTX 5070s that we’ve tested, namely the ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC and the MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5070 OC. This is impressive because these are larger cards, and the MSI variant has a faster boost clock speed as well. So, it was neck and neck between these three, with each taking home some victories across different resolutions. Here are some benchmarks:
