Infinix Smart 20E leaks in four colors, some specs outed too

Infinix launched the Smart 20 in March, and now it’s apparently working on a companion device in the same family, called the Smart 20E. This has been leaked today in four colors, as you can see below.

Its design seems nigh-on identical to the already available Infinix Smart 20. The Smart 20E has already been certified by the FCC with the model number X6843. That certification has revealed a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and the fact that the device will be 4G-only.

According to today’s leak, the Smart 20E will have the same 6.78-inch LCD display as the Smart 20, and it also has 120Hz refresh rate. It will apparently be powered by an unspecified Unisoc or MediaTek Helio chipset, which will be paired with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.

Keeping the lights on will allegedly be a 5,100 mAh battery that will support 10W wired charging. The Smart 20E will naturally run Infinix’s XOS skin on top of Android. It will apparently have a single mono speaker, as well as support for NFC and Bluetooth 5.2.

It’s said to be offered with 4GB and 6GB of RAM and only 128GB of storage. It will have an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The Smart 20E reportedly weighs 187g and is 8.25mm thick.

Compared to the Smart 20, the Smart 20E’s battery is slightly smaller, its charging support is weaker, and the phone is thicker. All of these things imply it might be slightly cheaper than the original Smart 20. It’s still unclear when Infinix plans on launching the Smart 20E, but we’ll keep you posted.
