Amazon Black Friday start time & countdown clock in US, Canada, UK
Black Friday falls on November 28 this year, but that isn’t the only time Amazon deals will be available. The e-commerce giant has a whole ‘Black Friday Week’ to look forward to, including the following Cyber Monday sales on December 1. We’ve already seen some retailers starting their Black Friday sales, including monitor brand AOC and retro handheld manufacturer Anbernic.
As for Amazon, there’s less than a week to go before Black Friday Week kicks off. Amazon has also given us a preview of what will be on sale late this November, including some of its own hardware, like up to 50% off the newly released Echo Dot Max.
When does Black Friday start on Amazon in 2025?
Black Friday Week on Amazon’s U.S storefront runs from November 20 to December 1. The deals will appear on the site at 12:01 AM PST on the 20th, so you can even do some late-night (technically early morning) shopping if you’re raring to go. The exact start time will differ depending on which time zone you’re in in the U.S.
- US Pacific Time (PST) – 12:01 AM
- US Mountain Time (MST) – 1:01 AM
- US Central Time (CST) – 2:01 AM
- US Eastern Time (EST) – 3:01 AM
Start times in Canada and the UK
The Amazon CA (Canada) site also follows this PST midnight start time, as detailed in this blog post. As for other Amazon storefronts, such as over in the UK, the event will start at midnight, local time (GMT). All of these regions’ sales events will be running from November 20 to December 1.
