Google Pixel 10a, Now We’re Rebadging Phones!
It’s Not A Pixel 10 With A Few Missing Features
You would be forgiven for thinking Google was continuing with it’s naming conventions and that the Pixel 10a was similar to the new Pixel 10 but with a few missing features. Indeed that is not what it is at all; Ars Technica discovered in their review it is a Pixel 9a with minor screen upgrades, a flat camera bump, and boosted charging. On the plus side Google kept the price around $500 US so you won’ t be paying more fo the the Pixel 10a than you did for the Pixel 9a at launch, which is an impressive feat in today’s market!
The battery remains the same 5,100 mAh capacity, however wired charging is quicker at 30W instead of 23Wfor the 10a as is wireless charging with a compatible Qi charger as it has been boosted to 10W. If you are in the market for a new phone, one other reason to like the Pixel 10a, or the 9a, is that Google will offer support and updates through 2033.
