What we like about this Corsair Vengeance i7500 gaming PC
Excellent mid-range Intel processor
This PC features the impressive Intel Core i7-14700KF, which is the middle offering from the 14th Gen lineup. It’s an excellent, well-rounded, and versatile CPU that’s going to lend itself well to both gaming and productivity, especially for creative professionals and content creators. Boasting a hefty core and thread count of 20 and 28, plus a large 33MB L3 cache, and an impressive boost clock speed of 5.5Ghz, we think this is an excellent and appropriate choice for the RTX 5070.
A great graphics card for 1440p
The RTX 5070 got a lot of hype before it was released, with claims of 4090 performance for way less than the MSRP of Nvidia’s former top GPU. What we found in our review of an ASUS TUF RTX 5070 was that it’s much better seen as an affordable 1440p option, rather than something that really pushes 4K, although it can in a few areas. We’ll use our ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC benchmarks to give you an idea of what to expect in terms of performance here. In Cyberpunk 2077 on ultra settings, it got 108fps at 1440p, and 45fps with ray tracing on. For 4K, ultra settings, it managed 48fps and 21fps with ray tracing on. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered at ultra settings with no ray tracing saw the card achieve 116fps at 1440p, and 64fps at 4K. As you can see, where it really impresses and shines is with 1440p. If you want something a bit better for 4K, go for an RTXX 5070 Ti 16GB, as that has 4GB more VRAM than this option.
‘High Speed SSD’
Corsair gaming PCs typically pack higher-tier components than what you’d see from most PC builders, and it looks like it’s gone for a higher-speed, albeit smaller, NVMe SSD here. That being said, we’d love to tell you what speed it is, and what generation it, too, but we can’t seem to find that information anywhere despite our best efforts. We’d say that based on most PC builds we come across, it’s likely to be one of the faster Gen4 options, instead of a Gen5, but that’s based on our experience rather than anything concrete. Corsair does use its own SSD in this build, and these are typically some of the higher-end, faster offerings on the market. Either way, a high-speed SSD is going to be great for gaming and for optimizing workflows if you’re working with loads of data.

Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at $2,399.99, this gaming PC is actually more expensive than some of the discounted RTX 5070 Ti options we’ve come across recently. That being said, much like with ASUS and MSI, you’re paying a premium for the name, reputation, build quality, and the fact that this PC is full of Corsair’s own products. If we were advising on going for full-on bang-for-your-buck, we’d say go with an RTX 5070 Ti model from the likes of Skytech or a similar one. Or potentially up your budget by $200 and grab a discounted RTX 5080 gaming PC instead.
