Generally speaking, while you can find RTX 5080 models with high-core-count Intel processors for the same price, maybe even a touch lower, Ryzen variations tend to carry more of a premium. Case in point, if you want to be completely shocked, check out RTX 5080, Ryzen 9 9950X3D models, which are so expensive, I’d suggest just going for an RTX 5090 build instead!
Either way, it’s a solid deal and a premium build that ticks all the boxes in my opinion, especially if you’re strong on gaming and workstation performance. If gaming is just your thing, go for a more affordable Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080 build instead, which can be found hovering around the $2,900 mark in most cases.
