vivo V80’s key specs, colors, and launch date revealed
vivo started teasing the V80 last week, and today it announced that the smartphone will be unveiled on October 6 at 12 PM in India.
Additionally, vivo revealed key specs of the V80, including a 6.59″ 1.5K OLED display with 5,000 nits peak brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate, a 7,200 mAh battery with 90W charging support, and four cameras co-developed with ZEISS.
The V80 will also feature 4K Cinematic Video and support 4K@60fps video recording with OIS. In India, the smartphone will come with AI Diwali Portrait 2.0 and a Diwali Frame.
On the software side, you’ll get the vivo V80 with Android 17-based OriginOS 7 out of the box, making it the first smartphone to run OriginOS 7 outside China.
While vivo hasn’t revealed the V80’s processor and memory configurations, it said the smartphone will come in three colors: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black.

Customers in India will also get 100GB of cloud storage free for six months with the Google One Standard Plan.
