Acer Predator Atlas 8 pre orders go live with launch offer as release date arrives earlier than expected
You can now pre-order the Acer Predator Atlas 8, at least in the UK, starting from £999, and they ship earlier than expected. Acer also just announced its new Atlas 7 model (alongside the concept-only Project DualPlay Mini) during IFA Berlin 2026, available in Q4, specifically in November for EMEA regions. As for the Atlas 8, a handful of UK retailers are now stocking it.
We’ve been impressed by the new Intel Arc G3/G3 Extreme-powered handheld – we’ve already done some hands-on testing with the Predator Atlas 8 ahead of its official release, and there are four variants to choose from. There are two Intel Arc G3 and two G3 Extreme versions, each with two memory and storage options available, ranging from £999 to £1,499.
In its initial reveal around Computex 2026, Acer advertised an October 2026 launch for North America, EMEA, and Australia regions – so it’s safe to say that we’re getting it earlier than expected in the UK, at least for the two Intel Arc G3 Extreme-powered models. Interestingly, the entry-level £999 model at Very is only listed with a November 5 shipping date.

Predator Atlas 8 pre order comes with an exclusive launch offer
UK customers who pre-order the Predator Atlas 8 will also get an exclusive launch pack “worth over £285” – Acer revealed this to us over a month ago, calling it an “awesome launch pack” that includes a “blockbuster AAA” game. We can now see this is a choice between Star Wars: Galactic Racer and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. Here’s what’s included in the launch bundle:

- Acer 100W GaN fast charger
- High-speed NVMe SSD enclosure

We’re yet to see the Atlas 8 become available for pre-order in the United States. In fact, only the UK pricing has been confirmed so far, so we can only rely on direct pricing conversions for now. Either way, we expect it to arrive soon enough as we work our way through September and towards the original October release window.
