What made this gaming PC stand out
For a budget gaming PC, it has decent and modern hardware that should be able to tackle various gaming and non-gaming workflows without any issues. The Ryzen 5 8400F features six cores and 12 threads, based on the Zen 4 architecture, and also includes integrated graphics. This means that even without a dedicated GPU, you can boot up the PC and perform basic tasks, such as documentation and web browsing.
The RTX 5060 Ti is a 16GB GDDR7 graphics card, so there is plenty of memory to handle AAA titles at 1080p and 1440p, but depending on how demanding the title is, you should be able to get good results at 4K. We’ve reviewed the ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti OC, and while the output might be better than a base variant, you can easily overclock the GPU for the same level of performance.

This card managed 123 and 78 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p and 1440p, but at 4K, it could only muster 34 FPS. However, in Doom Eternal, we got 131 FPS at 4K, and when we turned on ray tracing overdrive in Cyberpunk 2077, we leveraged DLSS 4 and MFG to boost the FPS from 7 to 89, which is incredible.
This CPU is air-cooled, but given how efficient the 8400F is, that should be able to keep it plenty cool, but we really liked the inclusion of the 2TB storage, as that should give you a good start to install different games and applications.
Should you get this gaming PC?
Taking into account the price and the hardware it brings to the table, we think this is a solid gaming PC, and anyone on a budget should seriously consider it. The RTX 5060 Ti should ensure excellent framerates at lower resolutions, but you should also be able to push 4K with the help of AI upscaling technologies. The 8400F shouldn’t cause any bottlenecks and should deliver good productivity across the board.
There isn’t anything that we think is lacking, as you’ll get 32GB of DDR5 RAM, plenty of storage, WiFi capabilities, and aesthetics all in one package. However, to make the deal even better, CLX is also providing a mouse and keyboard, which takes the value of this deal to the next level.
