Forza Horizon 6 release time & countdown clock
Forza Horizon 6 is finally about to launch worldwide, and excitement around the game is already at an all-time high. The game is already available for players who purchased the Premium Edition, giving them early access ahead of the official launch. Early player numbers are already looking incredibly strong, with the game pulling in massive concurrent player counts on Steam even before full release.
However, for those who pre-ordered the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, or have simply been waiting for the official launch date, the good news is that the wait is almost over, as Forza Horizon 6 officially launches incredibly soon.

What about Xbox users?
For Xbox players, Playground Games has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will release at midnight, local time, on May 19 in most regions, so there’s no need for a time zone conversion. There are a couple of exceptions, however, namely Pacific Time and Central Standard Time regions, both of which get it a little earlier, on May 18 – see the release map below.
What does Forza Horizon 6 offer?
As for the game itself, Forza Horizon 6 is the biggest entry in the series so far. This time, players will head to Japan, featuring what Playground Games calls the most dense and detailed Horizon map ever created. The game includes over 550 real-world cars, including classic JDM fan favorites and heavily modified special editions. Players can race through busy Tokyo streets, explore rural countryside roads, drift through mountain passes, and cruise across industrial districts packed with detail.
The game also introduces deeper customization systems. Players can purchase homes across Japan, create fully customizable garages, and even build their own mountain valley estate in the open world. Cars can be upgraded with new body kits, Forza Aero options, and custom liveries, giving players more freedom than ever before.
Players can also participate in Car Meets, drag races, Time Attack Circuits, and classic Horizon multiplayer modes like The Eliminator and Hide & Seek. Aside from that, the upgraded EventLab system, now called Horizon CoLab, will let players create custom events together almost anywhere in the world.
