Philips unveils new 34″ Evnia ultrawide gaming monitor with up to 200Hz refresh rate, available next month
Philips’ latest Evnia gaming monitor has been unveiled, with the same sleek white design we’re accustomed to. The new model, the Evnia 34M2C5601QA, comes with support for the long-standing Ambiglow feature to blast light behind the display, synchronized to what’s on screen, and AmbiScape – released earlier this year – which extends the same idea to supported smart home lights. Both features have become a staple on the brand’s gaming displays, such as the Philips Evnia 32M2N6901A launched in July.
The brand-new 34M2C5601QA is a 34-inch ultrawide gaming monitor with a standard 3440 x 1400 resolution, boasting up to a 200Hz refresh rate, with plenty of productivity features alongside its gaming credentials. These include USB-C 90W PD support and a built-in KVM Switch. It will be available to purchase next month for £299.99 in the UK; overseas pricing is to be announced.

Amsterdam, 10 September 2026 – Philips Evnia announces the Evnia 34M2C5601QA, a 34-inch (86.4 cm) curved ultrawide gaming monitor designed for expansive and responsive play. Its 21:9 WQHD display, Fast VA panel, and refresh rate of up to 200 Hz bring game environments to life with fluid movement and strong contrast. AI-enhanced Ambiglow extends the atmosphere beyond the screen, while USB-C with 90 W Power Delivery, a built-in KVM switch, and MultiView make it easier to connect and manage multiple devices from one setup.
A wider view of the game
The Evnia 34M2C5601QA features a 34-inch display with a 1500R curvature and an UltraWide Quad HD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. Its 21:9 format provides additional horizontal viewing space, giving game environments more room to unfold while also supporting wide desktop layouts and side-by-side applications.
The Fast VA panel delivers a typical contrast ratio of 4000:1, helping dark scenes retain depth and detail. SmartContrast analyses displayed content and automatically adjusts colours and backlight intensity according to the image.
HDR10 support improves the presentation of brightness, contrast, and colour in compatible content. The monitor displays 1.07 billion colours through 8-bit colour depth with FRC and covers 98% of the sRGB colour space.
High-speed gaming with low input lag
A refresh rate of up to 200 Hz through DisplayPort 1.4 helps rapid movement appear smoother and easier to follow when the monitor is used with compatible hardware. Adaptive-Sync synchronises the display refresh rate with the GPU output to reduce visible tearing and stuttering as frame rates change.
For fast-moving gameplay, 0.3 ms Smart MBR coordinates the LED backlight with the screen refresh rate to reduce perceived motion blur. The monitor also offers a typical 1 ms GtG response time and Low Input Lag, reducing the delay between a command and the resulting action appearing on screen.
Enhanced game modes provide additional control over visibility and targeting. Stark ShadowBoost reveals more detail in darker areas without overexposing brighter parts of the image, while Smart Crosshair automatically adjusts the crosshair colour against the background to keep it visible. Philips Evnia Precision Center brings display settings, gaming customisation, and lighting controls together in one software interface.
Extend the experience beyond the screen
Three-sided AI-enhanced Ambiglow analyses incoming content and continuously adapts the colour and brightness of the light projected behind the monitor. By extending on-screen colours into the surrounding space, it adds another layer of atmosphere to gaming and entertainment.
AmbiScape expands this lighting experience across compatible Matter-certified room lights, allowing connected lighting to respond to on-screen content beyond the monitor itself.
Connect multiple devices through one setup
USB-C connectivity supports video, data, and up to 90 W Power Delivery, allowing a compatible laptop to connect and charge through a single cable. The integrated USB hub provides three USB-A downstream ports for peripherals.
A built-in KVM switch lets users control two connected systems with one keyboard and mouse. MultiView supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, allowing content from two sources to appear on screen at the same time.
Additional connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and a headphone output. Two integrated 5 W stereo speakers provide built-in audio without requiring separate desktop speakers.
Practical adjustment for different setups
The height-adjustable stand offers 130 mm of vertical adjustment, swivel adjustment of 30 degrees in either direction, and tilt adjustment from minus 5 to 20 degrees.
Anti-Blue Light adjusts the monitor’s light output, while Flicker-Free technology regulates brightness to reduce visible screen flicker. The display also includes an anti-glare coating and supports 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting.
The Philips Evnia 34M2C5601QA will be available for purchase in October and at an MSRP of £299.99.
