RTX 50 series Super leak says we can expect more VRAM for the same price as the original GPUs
The rumored Super refresh for Nvidia’s RTX 50 series is drawing ever closer. And now, a new price leak for the GPUs has surfaced online. We already expect the new cards to finally give us more VRAM, and it looks like we could be getting that extra memory for the same price as the original cards, after some in-house pricing revisions, according to the leak.
To us, this seems expected, given that Nvidia (mostly) sold the RTX 40 series Super cards for the same MSRP as the original models, except the RTX 4080 Super, which got a much-needed $200 price cut. Based on what we saw in the 40 series, the new Super cards could be released in early 2026 – but a recent claim from Tweaktown says they’re on track for a holiday 2025 launch.
Up to 24GB VRAM for $749 with the new Super refresh
According to the leak, sourced from RedGamingTech on YouTube, the RTX 50 series Super GPUs will have the very same MSRP as their respective originals. However, do note that these prices are subject to change. The leaker says that these are cheaper than expected, considering previous rumors would place the GPUs between $50-$150 more expensive than the non-Super launch.

The refresh is said to utilize newer 3GB memory modules, rather than the previous 2GB models. Hence, why the cheapest option, the RTX 5070, is expected to get an unusual 18GB spec – a much-appreciated uplift from the previous 12GB, given the state of memory usage in modern AAA titles.

Both the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080 Super are expected to deliver 24GB of GDDR7 VRAM, which means it will be the first time a 24GB graphics card has launched significantly below $1,000. AMD’s former flagship RX 7900 XTX launched for $999, while the RTX 4090 set you back $1,600 (well, before the price hikes kicked in for AIB and scalped FE cards).
