It’s a great-looking build, too, with aRGB throughout and a smaller, compact PC case ideal for desktop placement. Overall, for high refresh rate FHD gaming with new Nvidia Blackwell features, this is a solid budget-friendly option to consider.

Why we like this Stormcraft Viper gaming PC
Excellent, cost-effective graphics card for FHD gaming
You’ve got an RTX 5060 Ti in this build, which is one of the best graphics cards to go for if you’re looking for a punchier alternative to the RTX 5060 for FHD gaming. It’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, so you’re getting the latest GDDR7 VRAM, which is significantly faster than GDDR6, and means that textures and assets load much faster in-game, with reduced stuttering. That being said, its VRAM is a fairly modest 8GB, which makes it great for FHD gaming, but not particularly well suited for 1440p, where you’ll need to use MFG to help boost performance.
Great price-to-performance ratio processor
This build has an Intel Core i5-14400F processor, which is a very solid pick to pair with the RTX 5060 Ti for gaming, productivity, and multitasking. It has a relatively high core and thread count, coming in at 10 (6 P-cores, 4 E-cores) and 16. This makes it a good option if you’re streaming and running background applications while gaming, and also makes it well-suited for creative workflows, such as video editing, too. On the gaming front, it’s a quality pick for FHD and 1440p, and has a decent-sized 20MB L3 cache and 4.7GHz boost clock speed. For the price, it’s a brings a fair bit to the table.
Loads of DDR4 RAM for snappy multitasking and gaming performance, and adequate storage
You’ve got 32GB of DDR4 RAM in this build, which may not be high-speed DDR5, but will certainly help reduce microstuttering, allow for better handling of multitasking, and give you plenty of headroom if you’re working on larger, more complex creative projects. You’ve also got a decent-sized 1TB SSD, which is more than enough for most people, especially if you’re not planning on building a super extensive gaming library and don’t mind the occasional cleanup from time to time.
Things to consider
At this price point, this PC is a real winner, but the only thing that may become an issue is its slightly less future-proof design. You’ve got an older 14th-gen CPU here, which is built on the LGA 1700 socket. This means that you’ll have to swap out you rmotherboad for if you’re interested in upgrading to one of the newer Intel CPU releases, which are built on the LGA 1851 socket. That’s no big deal if you’re not planning on upgrading anytime soon, mind you. You may prefer going for something on the AM5 platform if you want a more open upgrade pathway, but these prebuilds tend to hover around the $1,200, from my experience.
