The Ryzen 7 7700 is a good, budget-conscious processor to go for that pairs well with the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. It has a decent core and thread count of 8 and 16, which makes it quite adept for tasks like video editing and multitasking, and its large 32MB L3 cache, coupled with its big boost clock speed of 5.3GHz, makes it a good option for high fps gaming, too. In terms of a price-to-performance ratio, we think this processor should deliver the goods.
Storage and RAM
This PC may only have a small 1TB SSD, which is fine for a handful of AAA games, but it does pack 32GB of DDR5 RAM. This amount of RAM is going to be excellent if you’re playing open-world or heavily modded games, and will also come in handy with some of the more RAM-intensive creative and editing applications out there.
Things to consider
For this price, there’s really not a whole lot to consider with this PC itself, but you may want to explore RTX 5070 options if you’re going for better 1440p gaming performance. The RTX 5070 has the edge in this department, but falls a little short when it comes to VRAM, coming in at just 12GB. For hybrid gaming and content creation usage, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is likely to give you more for your money, though.
