This QHD Dell monitor deal is an easy pick for a home office upgrade
Should your home office or daily PC setup need a new QHD monitor, this deal could be for you. We’ve spotted Dell’s 27 Plus QHD Monitor (S2725DSM) at a savvy discount on Amazon. The 144Hz refresh rate display is now $190, down from its list price of $220. That’s a healthy $30 (14%) off, and the monitor may double as a gaming display if needed. It’s a likable, stylish monitor, and at this price we think it’s worth a look if you’re keen on few frills.

Why we like this Dell 27 Plus QHD Monitor
144Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response
For a home office or home PC setup, this 27-inch monitor’s 144Hz refresh rate at 1440p is more than adequate for daily tasks, content and media creation, and it could lend itself to some gaming if needed. Backed by a 1ms response time, motion should be fluid and responsiveness highly satisfying. It also supports AMD FreeSync for tear-free and smooth viewing.
Capable speakers and eye comfort
The Dell 27 Plus QHD Monitor has 2x 3W speakers, with Amazon owners expressing surprise at how good the sound is. That’s great news if you’ll be watching or reviewing content and don’t want to be bound to headphones. And when it comes to the key sense for monitors, your eyes, the monitor is 4-star TÜV-certified, so it reduces blue light while maintaining a crisp 1440p image quality.

An ergonomic stand design
The Dell 27 Plus QHD Monitor has a fully adjustable stand, as any good home office or heavy-use monitor should. With height, tilt, pivot, and swivel adjustability, you can find the best viewing position for daily comfort and adjust the monitor throughout the day as you need.
What to consider before you buy
We’d consider the Dell 27 Plus QHD Monitor a home and home office monitor first, and a gaming monitor a possible second. Dell certainly doesn’t market it as a gaming monitor, so if that is your main use case, check out our best gaming monitors list, or some of the other 27-inch monitors below. Still, for mixed use, this monitor is capable and has enough style about it to sit on most users’ desks without complaint (especially at the deal price).
