ASUS ProArt Display 4K monitor drops super close to its lowest price again in Amazon Big Spring Sales
This brilliant ASUS ProArt Display is now down to practically its lowest price again on Amazon, and it’s well worth a look. Currently reduced from $429.00 to $349.00, this monitor is ideal for creatives who want 4K resolution and industry-standard color for accurate, professional-level editing. You’ve got 99% DCI-P3, 99% Adobe RGB, Delta E<2 accuracy, and it’s Calman Verified out of the box. On top of that, it boasts rich connectivity, with USB-C 95W PD, and a super sleek, but functional, design that’ll make this monitor look great in any setup. These monitors don’t always get big deals, so I’d say it’s worth jumping fairly sharpish if you’re interested.

ASUS ProArt Display 27” 4K HDR Professional Monitor
(PA279CRV) – IPS, UHD (3840 x 2160), 99% DCI-P3/Adobe RGB, ΔE < 2, Calman Verified, USB-C PD 96W, DisplayPort, Daisy-Chain, Ergonomic, 3yr Warranty
Key features of this ASUS ProArt Display professional monitor
Professional-grade color
The big thing that sets these monitors apart from a standard display, and even some of the best gaming monitors, is their color. You’ve got 99% DCI-P3 color, which is ideal for video editing as it uses the same color standard as the modern film industry and has Delta E<2 color accuracy, which means that what you see will be practically indistinguishable from real life. On top of this, it has 99% Adobe RGB color coverage, which is essential for anything for print, as it aligns with professional CMYK printers. It’s also Calman Verified, which means you’re getting professional-grade color, brightness, and gamma out of the box, which is basically the gold standard for monitors used for video editing, content creation, and photography.
27-inch 4K display
While working on a larger screen is great for creative work, generally speaking, 27-inch monitors deliver the best bang for your buck, as 32-inch alternatives are significantly more expensive in most cases. Monitors that come in at a slightly smaller size are great for smaller working spaces, and give you ample room for creative workflows if you’re using, say, one application at a time, rather than working with multiple windows at once.

Extensive connectivity
Monitors like these need good connectivity that allows for flexibility. This monitor has a USB-C port with 96W power delivery, meaning you can plug in your laptop via a single cable for display and charge it at the same time. This drastically reduces desk clutter. It also has DisplayPort and HDMI, so you can daisy-chain multiple monitors together, or connect it to various other devices, like a gaming console, if you so wish.
Stylish and practical design
This monitor features a minimal, but super sleek design, with a stand that has built-in cable management, and a smaller base which helps reduce this monitor’s desktop footprint, and gives you more room for sketching, notes, drawing tablets, and more.

Things to consider
These monitors are great, but I wouldn’t even attempt to really use them for gaming. They’d work fine, but these are not really designed to be doubled up for a console or gaming PC, as they don’t have key features that ensure smoother gameplay, like AMD FreeSync and a higher native refresh rate. While I wouldn’t really advise opting for a one-size-fits-all solution if you’re a professional creative, the closest you could get would be something like a QD-OLED gaming monitor, but one with at least VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which tend to have around 99% DCI-P3 color. They would be appropriate for content creators and some video editors, but more on the casual side, rather than top-level professionals. My advice would be to stick with the ASUS ProArt for design, then go for a separate monitor for gaming. Check out some of our top monitor deals below to see what else is on sale.
