Where to watch & what to expect from State of Play June 2026
You can find the live State of Play broadcast being livestreamed on YouTube and Twitch via the official PlayStation accounts. Over on YouTube, there are English, English (Subtitled), and Japanese streams available for viewers to enjoy.
It has already been confirmed that Marvel’s Wolverine will be a major part of the show and will even open the presentation. With the game set to launch later this year, fans can expect an extended look at gameplay, combat mechanics, and what separates Insomniac’s take on Wolverine from its popular Spider-Man games. This will likely be the biggest showing for the game yet as the studio begins ramping up promotion ahead of release. It’s also set to be a PlayStation exclusive title.
Outside of Wolverine, there are plenty of possibilities. One of the biggest rumors continues to be a new God of War project centered around Faye, the wife of Kratos and mother of Atreus. Sony Santa Monica has multiple projects reportedly in development, making the studio one of the most likely candidates to deliver a surprise reveal during the event.
Another game many fans are hoping to see is Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Naughty Dog’s sci-fi adventure was revealed some time ago, but information has remained scarce since then. A fresh trailer or gameplay reveal would undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the showcase.
Several previously announced PlayStation projects could reappear, including Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Horizon Hunters Gathering, and Fairgames. Beyond first-party titles, Sony is expected to feature a selection of third-party games as well, and this could include release date announcements, new gameplay footage, and updates on major upcoming titles. As the event will kick off today, we’ll learn more soon.
